Troav Kot Lake – a small lake near Siem Reap

Troav Kot Lake is a lake near Siem Reap. The lake is used by Cambodians as a kind of recreation area and offers numerous restaurants around the lake. You can also find many jetties and eating areas on stilts.

A playground for children and even a very nicely designed camping “resort” also await visitors there.

Troav Kot Lake can be reached by tuk tuk about 1 hour away from Siem Reap. Visitors can also visit the Chaw Srei Vibol temple complex on the way. Therefore, it is recommended to visit the temple in the afternoon and end the evening at the lake.
